Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, God's Servant

Sermonette by Jarod Ritenbaugh

Ananias demonstrated remarkable faith by trusting God completely and approaching Paul immediately after the latter's conversion. He proceeded despite the clear risk that the report might prove false and that he would thereby go to his death. This act of obedience highlights the point that God can select and work through individuals previously viewed as enemies and persecutors. The example reinforces the principle that divine choices do not require human approval or align with human expectations. It connects directly to the observation that the Almighty can even cause great and flawed men to acknowledge His rule, as seen in the case of Nebuchadnezzar.
