Jesus Christ proclaimed a Kingdom not belonging to this world's societal structures, declaring before Pilate that His Kingdom was not established for this age. He affirmed His kingship despite the risk of death, standing firm as King of the coming Kingdom of God, a real government destined to replace worldly authorities. Jesus is from above, while those who oppose Him are from beneath, enslaved by the carnal mind that focuses on earthly things and prevents relationship with God. Only those to whom the Son reveals the Father receive understanding, becoming a new creation who walk by faith. Christians hold citizenship in heaven, serving as ambassadors barred from earthly politics, waging spiritual rather than political conflicts, and placing their hope solely in God's coming Kingdom.
