• Isaiah 55:2-3
  Why do you spend money for what is not bread,
  And your wages for what does not satisfy?
  Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
  And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
  Incline your ear, and come to Me.
  Hear, and your soul shall live;
  And I will make an everlasting covenant with you—
  The sure mercies of David.
  
   
• Jeremiah 7:8-12
  "Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, "We are delivered to do all these abominations"? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it," says the LORD. "But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.
   
• Jeremiah 7:3-4
  Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Do not trust in these lying words, saying, "The temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD are these."
   
• Zephaniah 3:1-2
  Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted,
  To the oppressing city!
  She has not obeyed His voice,
  She has not received correction;
  She has not trusted in the LORD,
  She has not drawn near to her God.
