• Ecclesiastes 8:11-17
  Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God. There is a vanity which occurs on earth, that there are just men to whom it happens according to the work of the wicked; again, there are wicked men to whom it happens according to the work of the righteous. I said that this also is vanity. So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun. When I applied my heart to know wisdom and to see the business that is done on earth, even though one sees no sleep day or night, then I saw all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. For though a man labors to discover it, yet he will not find it; moreover, though a wise man attempts to know it, he will not be able to find it.

  But to the wicked God says:
  “What right have you to declare My statutes,
  Or take My covenant in your mouth,
  Seeing you hate instruction
  And cast My words behind you?
  When you saw a thief, you consented with him,
  And have been a partaker with adulterers.
  You give your mouth to evil,
  And your tongue frames deceit.
  You sit and speak against your brother;
  You slander your own mother’s son.
  These things you have done, and I kept silent;
  You thought that I was altogether like you;
  But I will rebuke you,
  And set them in order before your eyes.
   
• Malachi 2:17
  You have wearied the LORD with your words;
  Yet you say,
  "In what way have we wearied Him?"
  In that you say,
  "Everyone who does evil
  Is good in the sight of the LORD,
  And He delights in them,"
  Or, "Where is the God of justice?"
   
• Luke 13:24-28
  'Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from,' then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.' But He will say, 'I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.' There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.

  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
  Fear God and keep His commandments,

  Then He said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, 'The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.'"
   
• Romans 2:2-6
  But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who "will render to each one according to his deeds":
