Who Are Jesus' 'Other Sheep' (John 10:26)?
Bible Questions & AnswersChrist declared that He has other sheep not of the fold of Judah, promising to bring them so that there will be one flock and one Shepherd (John 10:16). As the Chief Shepherd, He will unite the house of Judah and the house of Israel into one flock under His leadership, as foretold by Ezekiel (Ezekiel 37:21-28). On a spiritual level, the sheep of His flock are the members of God's church, and Peter affirms that there is only one Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ (I Peter 5:4). Christ's role as the Chief Shepherd signifies His authority over the unified flock, both physically with the tribes of Israel and spiritually with the church.
