The absence of this divine perspective leaves people unable to rise above immediate difficulties or project their lives toward a meaningful future, resulting in monotonous existence marked by aimless conduct and eventual rebellion against restraint. This lack manifests when the overarching plan of redemption, adoption into the God Family, and the restoration of all things under Christ is obscured or discredited, prompting men and women to cast off the standards that produce godly character. Satan advances this deficiency by attacking the message that reveals God's purpose, subtly questioning its completeness or the messenger through whom it came, so that hearers gradually release their grip on obedience, prayer, study, and endurance. The result is a people who, like a boat whose mooring line slips, drift farther from safety until they can no longer return. Such blindness invites the adversary's direct assaults on personal weaknesses, the sowing of division within the called, and the promotion of worldly values that contradict holiness. In contrast, those who retain and act upon the vision remain under God's protection, cooperating with His work of sanctification and receiving the inheritance prepared before the foundation of the world. The material therefore presents the lack of vision not as mere ignorance but as the decisive factor that determines whether one yields to the enemy or stands immovable until the corruptible puts on incorruption.
