Satan and the Holy Days

Sermonette by Cody Ford

Satan attempts to damage faith by provoking wrong decisions at key moments and by separating people from God. satan sets out to cause people to lose faith through trials that test reliance on human strength instead of God's power. satan works to anger people, force them to lose faith, stress them out, and change their attitudes in order to accuse them before God. During times of spiritual focus such as the Days of Unleavened Bread satan increases resistance because people are removing sin and drawing closer to God. satan observes opportunities to pound a wedge between people and God especially when something spiritually significant is happening.
