God is the strength of our heart, providing unwavering support when our hearts and minds falter. Through His indwelling Spirit, He fortifies us with spiritual power, ensuring that we are never alone in our struggles. His presence transforms our weaknesses into resilience, sustaining us against worldly challenges. When we feel overwhelmed, He renews our courage and determination, becoming the bedrock of our faithful conviction. God's strength empowers us to endure, to rise from failure, and to pursue what is worthwhile with a dedicated heart.

God provides the strength that enables the wife of Christ to fulfill her preparation and purpose. From the beginning, God created a type of this wife and marriage on the sixth day of creation by His own strength, forming woman from man in perfect complementary unity as the final act before the Sabbath. The Hebrew word chayil in Proverbs 31:10 for the virtuous wife conveys not only virtue but also the strength and power that originates solely from God Himself. This divine strength is portrayed directly in Scripture. In II Samuel 22:1-3 David declares that the Lord is his rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, and stronghold, identifying God as the source of strength in whom he trusts amid violence. II Samuel 22:31-34 further states that God's way is perfect, His word proven, and He is a shield to all who trust Him; God is the strength and power that makes the way perfect and sets feet like those of deer on high places. Habakkuk 3:17-19 echoes the same assurance: though every provision fails, the Lord God remains strength, making feet like deer's feet to walk on high hills. God deliberately employs the violent chaos of this world to develop this strength within those called to become the wife of Christ. The adverse circumstances refine character so that individuals become vessels of honor, sanctified and prepared for every good work. The fear of the Lord forms the foundation of this process, as Proverbs 1:7 and 31:30 establish, linking abiding respect for God with the strength that allows the wife to complement Christ perfectly. The book of Esther illustrates the outworking of this principle. Although God is never named, His sovereign power accomplishes deliverance through Esther's faithful obedience and Mordecai's guidance. Esther acts not by her own might but by the strength received through fear of the Lord, waiting on God to overturn evil plans. Thus God's strength supplies every requirement for the wife of Christ to live by faith, fear Him rightly, and fulfill the complementary role in perfect unity.
