In the Wake of an Unnatural Disaster (Part Three)
Commentary by John W. RitenbaughThe moral revolution in the Western world is not a natural disaster, but a manmade catastrophe. Unlike natural disasters, which occur due to the forces God created, this unnatural disaster has been deliberately chosen by mankind. It is a devastation not of property, but of understanding, attitudes, and conduct, as many people are no longer aware of truth regarding right and wrong. God, the Judge of all mankind, declares that humanity is without excuse for bringing this upon ourselves through the schemes we have sought out, as stated in Ecclesiastes 7:29. Satan has skillfully deceived people, preparing them to accept his lies by influencing them throughout their lives. This profound ignorance is evident in tragic events, such as the recent killing at Northlake Mall in Charlotte, where a teenager, influenced by wrong standards from both his environment and Satan's worldly system, defied authority and met a fatal end. Such incidents reflect a broader crisis of conduct, proving the Proverb that a way may seem right, but its end is death when the standard is not God's.
