Handwriting on the Wall (2020): Critical Race Theory
Feast of Tabernacles Sermon by Richard T. RitenbaughThe riots, looting, arson, and clashes with police sweeping American cities are not spontaneous outbursts of crazed people. They are the acted-out fruit of a philosophy called Critical Theory, born in the Frankfurt School, a circle of dissident Marxist intellectuals who relocated to American universities and think-tanks. Revolutions are made, not born, and they begin with intellectuals who form students, who then take to the streets. Antifa and Black Lives Matter are the heirs of nearly 200 years of progressive and communist thought reaching back to the Communist Manifesto. Of 12,045 unrest incidents across 47 states between late May and early September, about one in ten turned violent, and roughly 84% of those involved Black Lives Matter or Antifa. Critical Race Theory uses race as the tip of the spear to destabilize the West and create the social unrest in which a Marxist revolution against capitalism can occur. Its method is to question and deconstruct every principle of Western civilization, including Christianity and the Bible, and then agitate through activists, media, and politics. Such disorder is about power, not race. It carries the marks of Satan: rebellion, destruction, stealing, and overthrowing authority. Hatred of God drives communism, fulfilling Paul's description of end-time men in II Timothy 3 and foreshadowing the blasphemous, unrepentant world under the beast. True Christians should oppose these movements and read them as signs of the times, since Christ's return is nearer than many think.
Authority: Why So Many Resent It
Sermon by Martin G. CollinsPride, the father of all sins, is the source of self-exaltation, self-justification and the despising of authority. It cloaks rebellion in a deceptive appeal.
Where Is Your Ultimate Allegiance?
Sermon by Martin G. CollinsWhen the laws of God conflict with the laws of man, civil disobedience is the only correct response, as was patterned by Peter, Paul, and the apostles.
