'Personal' from John W. RitenbaughThe prime motivator for judging others often stems from a desire to elevate or justify the self. Passing judgment on someone based on our narrow perspective and subjectivity is an exercise in futility and vanity, offering no spiritual value. God forbids such judgment because it usurps His and Christ's prerogative as Judges. Our human judgment is too influenced by personal experiences and too subjective to be fair, rendering us incapable of judging with the fairness of God. This limitation highlights the danger and futility of passing judgment, as it oversteps into an area reserved for Divine authority.
