  • Matthew 24:30
    Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  • Matthew 24:32-44
    "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

  • Matthew 26:64
    Jesus said to him, "It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."

  • Deuteronomy 30:1-10
    “Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God drives you, and you return to the LORD your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, that the LORD your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the LORD your God has scattered you. If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. "Also the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today. The LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the LORD will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

  • Isaiah 13:6-13
    Wail, for the day of the LORD is at hand!
    It will come as destruction from the Almighty.
    Therefore all hands will be limp,
    Every man’s heart will melt,
    And they will be afraid.
    Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them;
    They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth;
    They will be amazed at one another;
    Their faces will be like flames.
    Behold, the day of the LORD comes,
    Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger,
    To lay the land desolate;
    And He will destroy its sinners from it.
    For the stars of heaven and their constellations
    Will not give their light;
    The sun will be darkened in its going forth,
    And the moon will not cause its light to shine.
    “ I will punish the world for its evil,
    And the wicked for their iniquity;
    I will halt the arrogance of the proud,
    And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
    I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold,
    A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.
    Therefore I will shake the heavens,
    And the earth will move out of her place,
    In the wrath of the LORD of hosts
    And in the day of His fierce anger.

  • Isaiah 65:25
    The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,

    Says the LORD.

  • Jeremiah 30:7-8
    Alas! For that day is great,
    So that none is like it;
    And it is the time of Jacob's trouble,
    But he shall be saved out of it.
    'For it shall come to pass in that day,'
    Says the LORD of hosts,
    'That I will break his yoke from your neck,
    And will burst your bonds;
    Foreigners shall no more enslave them.

  • Jeremiah 46:10
    For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts,
    A day of vengeance,
    That He may avenge Himself on His adversaries.
    The sword shall devour;
    It shall be satiated and made drunk with their blood;
    For the Lord GOD of hosts has a sacrifice
    In the north country by the River Euphrates.

  • Zechariah 14:1-15
    Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
    And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
    For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
    The city shall be taken,
    The houses rifled,
    And the women ravished.
    Half of the city shall go into captivity,
    But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
    Then the LORD will go forth
    And fight against those nations,
    As He fights in the day of battle.
    And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
    Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
    And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
    From east to west,
    Makinga very large valley;
    Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
    And half of it toward the south.
    Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
    For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal.
    Yes, you shall flee
    As you fled from the earthquake
    In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
    Thus the LORD my God will come,
    And all the saints with You.
    It shall come to pass in that day
    That there will be no light;
    The lights will diminish.
    It shall be one day
    Which is known to the LORD'
    Neither day nor night.
    But at evening time it shall happen
    That it will be light.
    And in that day it shall be
    That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,
    Half of them toward the eastern sea
    And half of them toward the western sea;
    In both summer and winter it shall occur.
    And the LORD shall be King over all the earth.
    In that day it shall be—
    “ The LORD is one,”
    And His name one. All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses.
    The people shall dwell in it;
    And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
    But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:
    Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
    Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
    And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.
    It shall come to pass in that day
    That a great panic from the LORD will be among them.
    Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor,
    And raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
    Judah also will fight at Jerusalem.
    And the wealth of all the surrounding nations
    Shall be gathered together:
    Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.
    Such also shall be the plague
    On the horse and the mule,
    On the camel and the donkey,
    And on all the cattle that will be in those camps.
    So shall this plague be.

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
    But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

  • 2 Peter 3:1-7
    Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

  • Revelation 11:15-19
    Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!' And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:
    ' We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
    The One who is and who was and who is to come,
    Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
    The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
    And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
    And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
    And those who fear Your name, small and great,
    And should destroy those who destroy the earth." Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

    And you shall eat dust
    All the days of your life.

    And you shall bruise His heel."

    Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, 'I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.' But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

    Leaned his hand on the wall,
    And a serpent bit him!
    Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light?
    Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?

  • Obadiah 1:15-16
    “ For the day of the LORD upon all the nations is near;
    As you have done, it shall be done to you;
    Your reprisal shall return upon your own head.
    For as you drank on My holy mountain,
    So shall all the nations drink continually;
    Yes, they shall drink, and swallow,
    And they shall be as though they had never been.

  • Micah 7:18-19
    Who is a God like You,
    Pardoning iniquity
    And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?
    He does not retain His anger forever,
    Because He delights in mercy.
    He will again have compassion on us,
    And will subdue our iniquities.
    You will cast all our sins
    Into the depths of the sea.

  • Zephaniah 1:1-18
    The word of the LORD which came to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah. "I will utterly consume everything
    From the face of the land,"
    Says the LORD;
    "I will consume man and beast;
    I will consume the birds of the heavens,
    The fish of the sea,
    And the stumbling blocks along with the wicked.
    I will cut off man from the face of the land,"
    Says the LORD.
    "I will stretch out My hand against Judah,
    And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
    I will cut off every trace of Baal from this place,
    The names of the idolatrous priests with the pagan priests—
    Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops;
    Those who worship and swear oaths by the LORD,
    But who also swear by Milcom;
    Those who have turned back from following the LORD,
    And have not sought the LORD, nor inquired of Him."
    Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD;
    For the day of the LORD is at hand,
    For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice;
    He has invited His guests.
    "And it shall be,
    In the day of the LORD's sacrifice,
    That I will punish the princes and the king's children,
    And all such as are clothed with foreign apparel.
    In the same day I will punish
    All those who leap over the threshold,
    Who fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit.
    "And there shall be on that day," says the LORD,
    "The sound of a mournful cry from the Fish Gate,
    A wailing from the Second Quarter,
    And a loud crashing from the hills.
    Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh!
    For all the merchant people are cut down;
    All those who handle money are cut off.
    "And it shall come to pass at that time
    That I will search Jerusalem with lamps,
    And punish the men
    Who are settled in complacency,
    Who say in their heart,
    'The LORD will not do good,
    Nor will He do evil.'
    Therefore their goods shall become booty,
    And their houses a desolation;
    They shall build houses, but not inhabit them;
    They shall plant vineyards, but not drink their wine.”
    The great day of the LORD is near;
    It is near and hastens quickly.
    The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter;
    There the mighty men shall cry out.
    That day is a day of wrath,
    A day of trouble and distress,
    A day of devastation and desolation,
    A day of darkness and gloominess,
    A day of clouds and thick darkness,
    A day of trumpet and alarm
    Against the fortified cities
    And against the high towers.
    "I will bring distress upon men,
    And they shall walk like blind men,
    Because they have sinned against the LORD;
    Their blood shall be poured out like dust,
    And their flesh like refuse."
    Neither their silver nor their gold
    Shall be able to deliver them
    In the day of the LORD's wrath;
    But the whole land shall be devoured
    By the fire of His jealousy,
    For He will make speedy riddance
    Of all those who dwell in the land.

    "For behold, the day is coming,
    Burning like an oven,
    And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
    And the day which is coming shall burn them up,"
    Says the LORD of hosts,
    " That will leave them neither root nor branch.
    But to you who fear My name
    The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
    With healing in His wings;
    And you shall go out
    And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
    You shall trample the wicked,
    For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
    On the day that I do this,"
    Says the LORD of hosts.

    When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.' When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, 'Go, wash in the pool of Siloam' (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.”He said, “I am he.” Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?” He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.” Then they said to him, “Where is He?” He said, “I do not know.”

  • Romans 11:16-24
    For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in." Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

    I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

  • Revelation 20:2-11
    He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
