  Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

  Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!
   
• 1 Corinthians 11:21-22
  For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.
   
• 2 Corinthians 6:16-18
  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
  "I will dwell in them
  And walk among them.
  I will be their God,
  And they shall be My people."
  Therefore "Come out from among them
  And be separate, says the Lord.
  Do not touch what is unclean,
  And I will receive you."
  "I will be a Father to you,
  And you shall be My sons and daughters,
  Says the LORD Almighty."
