  "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
   
• Zechariah 14:1-2
  Behold, the day of the LORD is coming,
  And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
  For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
  The city shall be taken,
  The houses rifled,
  And the women ravished.
  Half of the city shall go into captivity,

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.

"At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through.
