The Kingdom of God was inherent within the human Jesus Christ through the indwelling of an unlimited portion of the Holy Spirit, and it is also within His brothers and sisters through a smaller portion, an earnest or down payment of that same Spirit. This Kingdom did not originate with the conception or birth of the human Jesus but was prepared millennia prior, from the foundation of the world, by God the Father and Jesus as the Logos. Jesus Christ Himself declares in Matthew 25:34 that the Kingdom was prepared for the blessed from the foundation of the world, inviting them to inherit it. The Kingdom of God carries a past-tense, historic aspect, a present-tense aspect, and a future-tense aspect, intertwined through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that was in Jesus, making us heirs of the riches of God the Father. As joint heirs with Christ, we have received an earnest of this inheritance, with the promise of its fullness in the future, confirmed by God's unbreakable oath. The apostle James clarifies that this inheritance is the Kingdom promised to those who love God, a priceless promise to God's people chosen before the foundation of the world to receive every spiritual blessing in Christ.
