The terms "safe spaces" and "trigger warning" have cropped up frequently in the past year or so in the media, often accompanied by photographs or videos of protesting young people on college campuses. Joseph Baity helps to define these terms and the philosophical/political movements that have propelled them onto our national consciousness.
John Ritenbaugh, continuing his exposition of the angry, demon-possessed, dark fellow from Trier, Karl Marx, a mad man responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people, asserts that legions of leftist, 'progressive' humanist academics of American and European universities have proclaimed Marx the most influential voice of the last millennium. These Marxist-adoring educators are responsible for spreading their socialist/communist venom into the government, the public schools, and the churches, mis-educating the hopelessly gullible populace of western civilization so thoroughly in covert Marxist doctrine that a military takeover would not be necessary. The Communist Manifesto, published in 1848 and referred to as the bible of Marxism, calls for the confiscation of all private property, making the populace the slaves of the state, a Satanic doctrine which is totally antithetical to God's Word, which awards a promised land with private property to every subject in both the Old and New Covenants.
John Ritenbaugh, while agreeing that philosophers may not be as well-known as movie stars, rock stars, or athletes, asserts that philosophers in academia have had a greater influence on our thoughts, as well as on the precarious turns our culture has taken. When the works of academic philosophers come in contact with political movers and shakers, they wreak havoc on liberty and morality, exalting the state over the family, removing God from the equation altogether. Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre, following in the self-centered, sociopathic teachings of Rousseau, ushered in the radically, politically left-wing progressives (called the Jacobins), bringing in a reign of terror using the guillotine and vindictively slaughtering all ‘dissidents.’ Rousseau’s and Robespierre’s philosophies encouraged abortion, the destruction of the family, and the ascendancy of the state. Even though mass abortion is higher in Russia and China, American leftist liberal secular ‘progressives’ have murdered (in the name of ’women’s’ rights) 60 million children, far outstripping the atrocities of Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin and Pol Pat combined.
John Ritenbaugh, focusing upon an official poll administered by the Vatican, reveals that throughout the so-called Christian world, militant atheism may be decreasing, but religious indifference (or prudent agnosticism) is also increasing at even a more dramatic rate. People in both Roman Catholic and Protestant traditions feel smugly at liberty to reject major biblical doctrines, manufacturing their own private religions in their wake. If we refuse to follow Jesus' example (the Way- the system of doctrines once delivered to the saints), we will automatically lose the precious faith required for salvation. We need to (in Jude's admonition) ardently fight to hang on to the Way entrusted to us by God ' a way hated and vilified by the world. Christians have been increasingly stereotyped, marginalized, vilified, criminalized and persecuted by the political left, academia, and the left-dominated media. God will use persecution and tribulation to both purify and punish.
Matter interacts with energy in a different way at the atomic level than it does at the macro level. Earl Henn show that in a similar way human reason and logic are practically useless as tools in determining the nature of God. Only the Bible gives a complete revelation of God.
