The Big Lie (Part One)

Commentary by Mark Schindler

Satan as the father of lies deceives the whole world which could include God's people if they fail to heed God's Word. The big lie began in the Garden of Eden as Satan continues to move men to destroy themselves. People believe a big lie sooner than a little one and if it is repeated frequently enough they will eventually believe it. The strategy includes never allowing the public to cool off never admitting a fault or wrong never conceding that there may be some good in the enemy never leaving room for alternatives never accepting blame and concentrating on one enemy at a time while blaming that enemy for everything. Media coverage and political tactics follow this pattern by producing thousands of minutes of negative stories issuing retractions only after damage is done and pumping out daily negative accounts to manipulate emotions and suspend rationality. The big lie can be maintained only as long as dissent is repressed because truth is the mortal enemy of the lie and by extension the truth that is in Jesus Christ is the greatest enemy of Satan. Satan therefore represses and makes war on those separated to live that truth and uses the big lie to divide and conquer by encouraging entanglement with carnal politics of the old man. All of God's creation is seen corrupted and turned from its intended purpose under the big lie of men apart from God taking to themselves the right to determine the knowledge of good and evil.
