Was Enoch Translated to Heaven (Hebrews 11:5)?

Bible Questions & Answers

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied with bold conviction, declaring, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him." He spoke against murmurers and complainers, those walking according to their own lusts, mouthing great swelling words and flattering others to gain advantage. As a preacher, Enoch likely delivered messages that unsettled those around him, setting him apart and possibly endangering his life, which led to his miraculous transfer to a safer place. His walk by faith, setting aside carnal preferences and submitting to God's will, pleased God immensely.
