As we explore the Messianic Psalms, we discover how the psalmists, often through typology, centered on David, prophesying about the person, character, work, suffering, resurrection, kingship, and priesthood of Jesus Christ. While some psalms explicitly predict key events in Christ's life (such as Psalms 16, 45, 110), others reveal Him more subtly through perfect righteous and divine (as in Psalm 15), a depth made clear through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Detailed treatments of Psalms 16, 110, and 45 highlight Christ's complete dependence on the Father, His resurrection and exaltation, His unique role as eternal Priest-King after the order of Melchizedek, His victorious return, and His marriage to the Church as the Bride of Christ. Together, these psalms testify that Jesus alone fulfills God's redemptive plan, and they call God's people to faithful devotion and joyful preparation for His coming Kingdom.
