The baking process actually alters the leavening, changing the nature of the dough, making the loaves acceptable to the Lord. Like the baking, the intense trials that we undergo are part of the cleansing process God allows us to go through, making a permanent change, allowing us to become an acceptable sacrifice, permanently transformed into a new body.
