Truly, a mother's love knows no bounds. Abraham Lincoln once declared, "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother." The apostle Paul was cognizant that his assistant Timothy had inherited a rich legacy of faith from his mother and grandmother. Proverbs 31 contains valuable instruction from Bath Sheba to her son Solomon regarding what to look for in a wife. At our mother's knee, many of us have been taught our highest ideals, such as the Ten Commandments, the books of the Bible, and moral boundaries. As time goes on, we can reflect how they have impacted our lives, sacrificing their own comfort for our needs and desires. We realize that a day will come when we will no longer have them around to hug. The special bond between mothers and their children provides an insight as to how Jesus Christ loves us. Let us not squander the opportunity to make every single day Mother's Day.
