The greatest miracle in our lives was the day we received God's Spirit. Our spiritual deliverance from the shackles of sin was a greater event than when our forebears were delivered from physical Egypt with a strong hand (Exodus 13). God's saints are living stones in an edifice with Jesus Christ as the corner stone (I Peter 2:4-9; Ephesians 2:19-22). We are a royal priesthood preparing to serve as an intermediary between God and man. We are living sacrifices (Romans 12:1-2) giving our reasonable service edifying the Body of Christ. Our service and sacrifice should never be considered a burden, but a joy, declaring the excellency of God, witnessing what God in Christ has done for us (Isaiah 12:1-7). As living and dynamic stones, we offer better sacrifices-spiritual sacrifices (Deuteronomy 16:16-17).
