On October 7, 2023 (the 8th day just after the Feast of Tabernacles), the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas (meaning "violence" in Hebrew) murdered thousands of innocent Israelis. The hatred the Palestinians have for the children of Jacob is thousands of years old. Their children learn to regard Jews as vermin and cockroaches, as virulent as the Nazi hatred murdering over 6 million people. Leftists in American culture apply hate speech against God's people rather than truly evil people (Isaiah 5:20, Matthew 24:9-13). God's people suffer persecution because they embrace the truth and light, which terrifies those who love to live in darkness, defying God's holy and spiritual laws. When God's people follow the example of Jesus Christ, they will become increasingly different from the world, and increasingly hated. Lawlessness seems to abound today as God's laws are hated by the current dominant political party in America and their crooked judges (Isaiah 5:20). Thankfully, our Lord and Savior has overcome the world, and if we yield to Him, we will also overcome the world (I Peter 5:6-11).
