When we examine two important connotations of the word "fellowship," we see that the meaning radiates far beyond a cursive activity of talking with one another. It encompasses a relationship, a sharing of common experience-a sharing of life with God the Father and Jesus Christ, and a partnership to execute their work establishing His Kingdom on this earth. Consequently, a relationship is far more than just an activity, but instead refers to a community bound together by a common purpose. Because we share a common life as God's children, siblings in the faith, we must devote ourselves to working together, loving one another as collective, interdependent members of Christ's body, glorifying Our Heavenly Father, devoting ourselves to the goal of attaining to His and our coming kingdom.
