description: (hide) In Matthew 6:33, our Lord and Savior states that seeking His Kingdom is our primary goal. Most Christian organizations have no concept of what the Kingdom of God is. The Roman Catholic Church declares the Kingdom of God as the ruling of God in our hearts. Eastern Orthodox Christians teach that the Kingdom of God is present within the church, while the Protestants have no agreement among themselves. Sadly, even among the greater church of God there is considerable confusion. Merriam Webster insists on four basic elements of a kingdom: 1.) a king that rules, 2.) specific lands or territories, 3.) a specific code of law, and 4.) subjects. Satan has deceived the entire world about God's coming kingdom The only relief available from this worldwide deception is by the miracle of God's calling that removes the veil of the deception from the mind of His chosen as they receive the gift of His Holy Spirit, enabling them to understand and accept His word as truth. In Luke 4:43, Jesus revealed His purpose of preaching the coming kingdom of God, a detail already proclaimed in Jeremiah 23:5 and Isaiah 9:6. In John 18:36, Jesus assures Pilate that Jesus' rule on earth will be in the future using God's holy and spiritual laws. No sin will ever be permitted within the walls of His Kingdom. It is the people choosing righteous living through obedience who are becoming kings and priests of the great God, which includes all the prophets and saints (then and now) who are the citizens of His Kingdom.
