description: (hide) During the past half century, the governments of Jacob's offspring have experienced a drastic decline in civility, trust, and respect, directly caused by an ugly three-headed monster of electronic media, legacy media, and entertainment, all of which have amplified division, distrust, and outright hostility. Instead of remaining neutral and impartial, the media has become super-partisan, vilifying political opponents, attempting to smear their character irreparably. Accusation and polarization have destroyed trust in all political institutions and have also sullied their own credibility. Biblical figures such as Miriam, Job, and Zechariah illustrate the dangers of questioning of God's sovereignty or authority. As God's called out saints, we must acquire maximum humility and trust in His sovereignty, even amid trials and societal challenge. God's people should exercise self-reflection and emotional control, relying on His wisdom to navigate through personal and collective hardship, guarding against the spiritual perils of anger and accusation.
