description: (hide) Anticipating Christ's plan is an essential skill to those called to become Kings and Priests. We can use examples from our own lives, such as acting as the quarterback in football, or dancing with a partner learning to both lead and follow, as well as any other activity requiring leadership and teaching. We are required to anticipate and know the elements of Christ's plan such as the mission, the playbook, being able to anticipate a wide variety of plays, have knowledge of each member and their role, and be able to coach each member of our team in a language they understand so they can also deepen their own understanding. Basing our overall mission on the commands of Matthew 28, we are directed to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." We can help those whom God has called to become members in the family of God. Christ's followers are not to become just a leader/King or a teacher/Priest, but we are to develop the abilities to become both. Forethought and anticipation are a major component of each of those roles.
