Amidst the various stresses of the world leading to burnout, the spiritual work we are called upon by Christ should lead to the greatest likely form of this problem since perfection is demanded of us, but the Feast should be a renewal to make us approach our godly responsibilities with zeal in the upcoming year. Looking at a study from this year 2025, the number of workers around the world suffering burnout has risen to 66 percent. It often comes from work, but it can be caused by government agencies, family problems, negative world news, and overwhelming responsibilities from numerous sources. It can lead to numerous types of side-effects like headaches, loss of motivation, fatigue, etc. Looking at scriptures like Philippians 2: 12-13 and Colossians 1:29, we see that our calling could lead to the greatest source of stress since we cannot take a break from developing godly character. However, God created the Feast of Tabernacles to give us a break from the other stressors of the world and give us a chance to solely focus on His mission of sanctification of us and the church. We discover that the drive to do the work of God can be renewed so we can focus on it with enthusiasm instead of dread. The rest of the year we maintain our focus on our mission which puts the other stressors lower in the hierarchy making them more bearable.
