Those who belong to Christ through repentance, baptism, and the gift of God's Spirit become Abraham's seed in Him and thus heirs according to the promise, sharing the same everlasting relationship with God that includes both the physical land and the spiritual blessing to all nations. This inheritance rests on faith modeled after Abraham's belief, which God accounted as righteousness, and produces the obedience that flows from genuine trust rather than any attempt to earn salvation through law-keeping. As children of God and joint heirs with Christ, believers hold the promise of eternal life that will reach its complete reality when God establishes His Kingdom on earth at Christ's return, at which time those who overcome will inherit all things and enjoy unbroken fellowship with Him forever.
