Jesus Christ, after His crucifixion, was laid in a new sepulchre in a garden near the place of His crucifixion, as described in John 19:41-42. There, in the tomb, the grave, they placed Jesus Himself, not merely His body, affirming that He was entirely dead for three days. Acts 2:31 further clarifies that His soul was not left in hell, which should be understood as the grave, and His flesh did not see corruption. This indicates that Jesus was in the grave, not in Paradise, during those three days following His death.
