Proclaiming God's Holy Convocations
#1894B

Given 19-Sep-26; 32 minutes
Leviticus 23 reveals that God's Holy Days are not merely appointments to attend but sacred times to be actively proclaimed and observed. The call to "proclaim" and gather in "holy convocations" points to both public worship and personal transformation. Hebrews 10:24-25 emphasizes the importance of assembling with fellow believers, while Isaiah 58 connects proclaiming God's holy time with repentance and delighting in His ways. True observance goes beyond outward religious practice; as Jeremiah 9 and Romans 2-3 emphasize, knowing God and obeying Him must involve the heart. Malachi 4 and Mark 1 likewise connect repentance with preparation for God's Kingdom. God's people are therefore called not simply to attend holy gatherings, but to live transformed lives that reflect His character and proclaim His glory while looking forward to His Kingdom.
