In a recent article appearing in The Atlantic, Olga Khazan poses the question "Why are people acting so weird?" citing a dramatic increase in "unruly passenger" incidents, road rage, and the recent slap heard around the world from the recent Oscar Awards. Michael Snyder attributes this bizarre behavior as a response of being emotionally manipulated by the government-controlled mainstream propaganda media faithfully accompanied by the censorship of truth conducted by Big Tech. 72% of the citizenry is convinced that America's moral compass is in the wrong direction, with the woke agenda (including the LBGT confederation, desiring to override science and the infanticide lobby disguised as 'women's rights) rising to ascendancy, defying God's Holy and Spiritual law. The leadership of all governments of Jacob's offspring have simultaneously shown their contempt for Almighty God and His commandments. If we let our emotions rule, we can lose a lifetime acquisition of reputation and character in a split second. God's people can protect themselves from entanglement of emotional hurricanes and heart-stopping roller coasters by attaching themselves to the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ, providing stability and spiritual anchorage. We must not rely on our emotions as we respond to warning lights on the dashboard of our automobiles; not every signal mandates that we turn off our car and move into a protective bunker. When Jesus Christ undergirds us, there is not only stability, but an opportunity to serve as a welcome beacon of light to a world currently going to perdition.
