If we reflect upon the largest topic in the Bible with the most scriptural details to mine, it will have to be the subject of worship. Everything created was for God's purpose, His glory, and for His pleasure. God desires that we cultivate a close relationship with Him—especially those called from every age to be the Bride of Christ. God not only requests our loyalty and worship, but He demands it. If we are to grow into the likeness of His Son, we must give 100% of ourselves. His holy and spiritual laws must be an integral part of our spiritual DNA. Keeping God's commandments is equivalent to loving God with all our being and our neighbor as ourselves. King David always praised God throughout the Psalms, begging that God never take away His spirit. Worship is required for all point events in our lives, including the dreadful trials which build character within us. If we exercise the gift of God's spirit, we will eventually control our carnal human passions. Anything that displaces God in our walk with Him must be rooted out, including the obsession to be self-centered. We can improve our worship as we take care of the preparation day for Sabbath. During Sabbath, our conversations need to be on a God-plane rather than carnally focused.
