In Satan's world, thievery, both literal and metaphorical, is commonplace, but because of naivete or normalcy bias, we are inclined to underestimate threat warnings, thinking that nothing will get in our way. But, as our Lord and Savior warns us in the Olivet Prophecy, deception is our gravest concern, for the world is full of dangerous thieves attempting to take our crown. We dare not show complacency, letting our carnal naivete allow us to fall into deadly traps. Because of something like an incompetent employee forgetting to process a form properly, an innocent person can become hunted like a vicious criminal. Thankfully, God is still on His throne and has the capacity to rescue His persecuted saints. We should expect Satan to use his maximum evil against us, but we must be vigilant, continually relying on Almighty God for guidance, protection, and intervention.
