Timing Is Everything

'Ready Answer' by Dan Elmore

There is a set time for everything under heaven, as a wise man, Solomon, reminds us. The timeliness of God's plan was crucial for several reasons. First, it was required by prophecy, establishing Christ's credentials. Second, it proves how reliable God is. Third, mankind, cut off from God after eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, has been in dire need of rescue, and it was time for that rescue to be carried out. Fourth, it was time to remove the curtain of separation from those whom God calls, restoring human access to Himself through the sacrifice of our sinless Creator. Fifth, time was running short; with only the final third of the time allotted for man's rule remaining, the end was near. Sixth, it was the right time to bring hope to a hopeless world, as Jesus Himself declared that the time was fulfilled and the kingdom of God was at hand.

Sermon/Bible Study by John W. Ritenbaugh

If we hold fast to principles, though it may seem initially uncomfortable and fearful, we will eventually receive respect and even admiration.

Conviction and Moses

Sermon by John W. Ritenbaugh

Our conviction reveals itself in living by faith. Moses is a stunning example of how a convicted Christian should live — with loyalty and faithfulness to God.
