Together We Stand - But on What?
Sermon by Martin G. CollinsThe only way to truly understand our role in God's church is to know whom we worship and what our part is in our relationship with Him. This understanding comes solely through adhering to the true doctrines of Christ, as no other path leads to the truth and God's way of life. It is a process where even one false doctrine can lead us astray, veering us in the wrong direction. As we grow in knowledge of the true doctrines of Christ, we gain a clearer picture of who and what God is, what He has planned, and what is required of us, enabling us to see reality as it truly is, unclouded by human perspective. Jesus stated unconditionally that we must worship the Father in spirit and truth. True and sincere worship of God engages the heart, not merely following form, and is offered with gratitude, praise, and prayer, with a desire to glorify Him, without becoming a spectacle. Spiritual worship involves surrendering the heart and mind to God for His use as He deems fit. The church's gathering for worship is essential to our faith, representing the presence of God, and we must not neglect meeting together, anticipating the hope of being with Christ in inseparable glory, which is the ultimate goal of worship. What we believe with our minds and feel in our hearts will manifest in our actions, defining Christianity when based on truth.

The Commandments (Part Three)

The First Commandment
'Personal' from John W. RitenbaughIdolatry is probably the sin that the Bible most often warns us against. We worship the source of our values and standards, whether the true God or a counterfeit.

Flee From Idolatry (Part Two): Faithfulness
Sermon by Richard T. RitenbaughLike a boxer, we must exert ourselves with a broad spectrum of skills to subdue our carnal bodies, mortifying the flesh with maximum self-discipline.
