Commentary: Conspiracy Theory (Part Seven)

When Jay Leno was on the air regularly, he would—usually once a year, just outside his studio—do a segment that he called, "The Best of Jay-Walking." During this segment, he would question passers-by about current events, and sometimes American history. The questions were never deep or arcane. The answers required would normally be one that a high school education would have easily given, at least to me it was. But the answers, if any were given, were incredibly revealing. Everybody laughed. But who and what were they laughing at? If the people Mr. Leno questioned are considered to be a cross-section of the American public, then Satan has done an incredible job, successful in his program to destroy America's educational system. Almost nobody ever gave a correct answer and many appeared to be utterly vacant of any answer.
I've also witnessed similar videos filmed of college students questioned in a similar manner, but asked questions only pertaining to God's existence or of a Bible verse, episode, or character that anybody should have have known, but the result has usually been only slightly better than what Jay Leno experienced on the street. If these results are representative of a broad example of the American public, it removes all doubt about what we see happening in the nation regarding its overall social conduct and awareness of what is happening politically, economically, educationally, and religiously.
It seems to me that the downward slide in conduct has been going on for so long and is so far down from what it had been that a very large percentage of the American people are no longer even aware that a higher level once existed, let alone what those standards were then. Though I judge that the dumbing down has been very successful, the fullness of the objective hasn't yet been reached.
Last week, I used the term "commonalities" to indicate what motivates people to form groups such as fraternities, sororities, and clubs of many, many sorts. Besides fraternities and sororities, there exists the Republican, Democratic, Communistic and Socialist political groups in the United States. There are multitudes of differing religious groups, plus the Kiwanis, Elks, Eagles, VFW, Red Cross, Salvation Army. Besides that, many, many athletic clubs.
What is it that draws people together like this? What motivates people of perhaps many differing levels of education and social standing to join together to be organized within an activity, perhaps far different from their normal course of life? Well, it is a common tie that bonds them.
A clear biblical example of this is seen in the Bible in Genesis 11. Verse one says, "The whole earth had one language and one speech." However, in verses 7-9, God confused the languages, motivating those of the same language to seek each other out and join with them as one group. And thus we see that group form around common interests and/or common needs. Thus my use of the term, "commonalities."
Conspiracies form for the same general reasons as fraternities, sororities, and clubs. And thus, that group gradually becomes a family-like association to motivate a purpose. What is the commonality this conspiracy has that attracts and motivates its members? It is the overriding desire for wealth and power; the power to control for one's own benefit.
It is very interesting to me that the book of Proverbs, the Book of Wisdom, has a warning in its very first chapter against doing this very thing. It is the very first thing that we are warned against:
Proverbs 1:10-15 My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, “Come with us, let us lie in wait to shed blood; let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause; let us swallow them alive like Sheol, and whole, like those who go down to the Pit; we shall find all kinds of precious possessions, we shall fill our houses with spoil; cast in your lot among us, let us all have one purse”—My son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path
Now, why is this such a matter of such great concern that it is given first of all? I believe it is because this is the means Satan used in his appeal to angels to build his rebellion against God.
Isaiah 14:12-14 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
That was his appeal. "Come join with me, and we will accrue wisdom and power and might."
Self-love is the essence of sin, and when pride arose within Satan, it led him to believe that he was so great that he deserved greater position and authority. It also led Satan to appeal to his fellow angels to improve their place in what God had created and organized. The desire for more and greater proved impossible for one-third of them to resist, and thus, they chose to join with him in order to improve their lot in life.
Do you recall recall John D. Rockefeller's reply when he was asked, "How much is enough?" This multi-billionaire replied, "Just a little bit more." The same personality who persuaded the angels is also the same one who is persuading men to take part with him in yet another attack on God. I am certain, though, that unlike the angels who could literally see God, these men and women haven't the slightest hint that they are being used to attack God. If they did, they would still scoff at such a suggestion. (Next week, I'll tell you why.) Their focus is improving their wealth and power in this world so as to shape political and economic conditions to their purpose.
Up until this time, I have focused on what is forming being an American operation. However, the more I read, I am very sure that that position is limiting. Remember that I mentioned previously that the aims of these people is worldwide power and influence. This is a new world order they seek. Second is the family form of organization. The participants are largely drawn from the whole family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—that is, Israel. The members are largely settled in Europe and include Norwegians, Finns, Swedes, Germans, Jews, French, Swiss, Brits, Danes, Irish, Belgians, Dutch, and besides, there is a fairly large representation from Gentile nations as well. But the bulk in terms of numbers is Israelitish.
Now, until this time, to those directly involved in the operations of these groups, ethnicity means little. Their focus is primarily on personal goals of more money and more power. Right now, this overrides all else. To be continued.
