Conspiracy Theory (Part Five)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Most conspiracies are as hidden as the conspirators can manage, and this one is no exception. Yet, many realities of this specific conspiracy have been uncovered as researchers share their findings with the public. Unlike typical conspiracies aimed at overthrowing a single leader and a small group of associates, this conspiracy is far more comprehensive, targeting the overthrow of an entire governmental, economic, educational, and social system. The conspirators, in their pride over their accomplishments and power, have become less cautious in hiding their activities. However, they face a significant challenge: will the citizens of this nation and the world accept what is underway, especially since many objectives have already been achieved on a scale larger than most can fathom? The fear of revolt, particularly by the American people who possess over 300 million privately held guns, drives efforts to disarm them and avoid confrontation until the conspirators are prepared. This conspiracy stands apart from others due to its prophesied nature, immense size involving many nations, kings, and rulers, and the involvement of powerful leaders across government, business, religion, and academia. These leaders, embedded throughout the human infrastructure of numerous nations, act like a metastasizing cancer, influencing key economic, academic, and productive sectors. This tightly organized conspiracy is not a haphazard operation but a deliberate plan to establish a new world order, transforming governance, business, labor, education, and religion globally, starting in the Western world. Its audacious scope could only be achieved with modern mechanical, electronic, nuclear, and aviation capabilities. At its helm is a greatly gifted spiritual leader, satan, guiding an operation that has been in preparation for centuries, with references found in writings predating the United States. Unlike typical conspiracies executed quickly, this one operates on a generational timeline, with leadership showing no urgency and focusing on family power rather than individual gain. Their economic base, built over generations, provides immense operating power, ensuring their course remains set with little concern for day-to-day survival.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Eight)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

In this exploration of end-time events, a significant conspiracy emerges with satan's unmistakable influence at its core. This is not merely a human plot to overthrow governments, as such schemes are common in history, but rather a profound, organized effort by many nations to wage war directly against God's sovereignty, as foretold in ancient prophecies. The scale of this conspiracy is immense, operating under a veil of secrecy to conceal its true intentions. No human could orchestrate such a vast deception across generations, lacking both the longevity and the power to mislead the world. Satan and his demons, however, possess the ability to recruit, prepare, and manipulate individuals for their purposes, ensuring willing participation. Those involved remain unaware of satan's command, fully deceived in their roles. His followers are predominantly humanists who have long rejected God, bound together by a shared disdain for divine authority and a craving for wealth and earthly power. These conspirators, often trained in institutions where satan's influence has prevailed for centuries, dismiss spiritual concepts and deny his existence, believing themselves superior to others. Their focus is global, driven by the ambition to create a new world order from which they expect to profit, centered in the Western world with a largely Israelitish ethnicity, though mixed with others. Satan's preparations for this end-time conspiracy are believed to have intensified around AD 1700, with earlier groundwork laid through deception, targeting key institutions like spiritual and secular education to normalize immorality and corrupt ethics in our time.

Conspiracy Theory (Part One)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Conspiracy has long been a dark thread woven into the fabric of human history, revealing the depths to which the carnal mind can sink. From the earliest days, as seen with Cain, who murdered his own brother after beholding his Creator, the inclination to plot for personal gain has persisted. Ehud, a Benjamite, became an assassin, plotting to kill the Moabite king who led the Israelites. Abimelech, son of Gideon, conspired with his mother's family to slaughter all but one of Gideon's seventy sons to seize power, only to meet a bloody end himself. Absalom, driven by deceit and self-interest, sought to overthrow his father David, though God intervened, and Absalom perished. Solomon faced a coup from Adonijah, who schemed to take the throne against David's wishes, even involving Bathsheba in his plot. Kings and Chronicles recount further conspiracies ending in the deaths of rulers, showing that even Israel, despite its special relationship with God, was not immune to such treachery. In later times, the church itself faced similar threats, as seen in Acts 9, where the apostle Paul escaped a murderous plot by Jews in Damascus, lowered in a basket from the city wall by night. The root of such acts lies in the influence of this world's system, shaped by satan and his demons, the universe's first conspirators. Satan successfully drew a third of the angels into rebellion against God, demonstrating a mastery of deception that permeates human thought through the spirit of this world. This spirit justifies evil, even murder, in the minds of conspirators, convincing them of the righteousness of their schemes. Thus, conspiracies, evident throughout history, remain a present possibility, driven by the same corrupt influences that have always plagued humanity.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Three)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Conspiracies have a recurring presence in history, often aimed at overthrowing established powers, as seen in both Israelitish and American contexts. They require two or more participants united by common grievances and desires, cooperating with patience and a strong conviction that their cause is righteous and beneficial. Biblical prophecies suggest that conspiracies will play a significant role in events leading to Jesus Christ's return and the establishment of God's kingdom. History repeats itself due to unchanging human nature and the persistent influence of certain personalities, notably satan, whose character is steeped in deception and conspiracy. Satan's nature drives him to conspire incessantly, as evidenced by his influence over Judas in the betrayal of Jesus Christ and his earlier deception of Eve. Long before these events, satan conspired to draw one-third of angelic beings from their loyalty to the Creator God, seeking to overthrow Him and rule over creation. Though defeated and cast down to earth, satan continues his deceitful efforts against humanity, now targeting Christ's spiritual body, the church, with a powerful attack forecasted in biblical accounts. This assault, though doomed to fail, will cause great havoc just before Christ's return. A significant prophecy in Psalm 2 foretells a vast, multi-national conspiracy orchestrated by satan through the leaders of nations, kings, and rulers, aimed at overthrowing the LORD and His anointed, the Father and the Son. This plotting, though not yet fully realized, echoes past attempts, such as the assassination of Jesus Christ, inspired by satan through deceived human leaders. Satan, unable to halt God's purpose then, will organize another scheme against the church as an end-time event, driven by his unchangeable, hardened character. God has forewarned of this coming attack, preparing us for the turmoil ahead.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Seventeen)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Satan has orchestrated a vast conspiracy to deceive mankind, managing to remain largely unseen, especially by the leadership of nations. Despite the immense population of the world across history, his ability to mislead is remarkable, though in truth, it has been relatively easy due to the favorable conditions for persuasion. God has allowed him significant access to the unconverted, with fewer restrictions compared to His converted children, tilting the balance in his favor. The carnal mindset of the unconverted further aids his efforts, making them naturally inclined to his influence. The ease of his deception is evident from the very beginning with Adam and Eve, who succumbed to sin at the first opportunity, despite their direct relationship with God. Eve was quickly deceived by the serpent, and Adam, though not misled by words, followed her example without resistance. This initial fall set a pattern for all humanity, demonstrating how effortlessly sin spreads. Satan's conquest was simple, and through the principle of leaven, sin has permeated everywhere, generation after generation. Over the past several centuries, Satan has furthered his conspiracy by raising up charismatic leaders, often secular philosophers or educators, and sometimes religious figures, to guide the masses. He supports these leaders with others in key cultural areas such as education, politics, economics, manufacturing, and religion, who adapt and spread anti-God teachings. This leavening effect ensures the corruption of moral, spiritual, and ethical standards across Western cultures, perpetuating his deceptive influence far and wide.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Sixteen)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Many writings on conspiracies in the United States of America point to a variety of men in banking, politics, and high corporate positions as the key figures behind clandestine operations. These individuals are often linked to organizations such as the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, and liberal think-tank foundations like Ford, Rockefeller, and Carnegie, as well as the American federal government. However, a critical oversight in these accounts is the unseen leadership of satan, the primary enemy of God and mankind. His cunning deception has nearly erased the reality of God's existence and undermined the Bible's validity as a source of spiritual, moral, and ethical truth. Satan's pervasive involvement is evident, as he is described as a murderer and liar from the beginning, deceiving the whole world, granting power to the coming beast, and acting as the prince of the power of the air influencing the sons of disobedience. He leads all rebellion against God and His purpose, enslaving many to establish a supra-human government over mankind. This lack of recognition stems from humanity's reliance on the visible, unable to grasp the unseen forces of God and satan in their thinking and writings. Without considering these spiritual entities, the true scope and size of the conspiracies building through centuries remain misunderstood. Satan has significantly influenced the world through secular education in universities, where matters of faith are distrusted, and science and philosophy are elevated as the ultimate authorities. Philosophers, used by satan, have spread his deviations, embedding lies about how life should be lived into cultural norms. The decline in church attendance, from 60% in England 150 years ago to just 5% in 2012, and from higher rates to just over 30% in the United States currently, with younger generations leaving in droves, demonstrates his impact on morality. Additionally, there are warnings of intensified attacks on Christian churches by groups like LGBT and feminists, who may demand legal action against churches preaching against their beliefs, aiming to shut them down. The concept of nephilim, often translated as giants but also interpreted as tyrants, points to arrogant, anti-God leaders who have led populations into immorality, much like historical figures such as Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong, whose tyrannical actions resulted in millions of deaths and massive followings. This suggests that such nephilim-like influences may still be active in the world today.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Two)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Conspiracies to overthrow governments are not uncommon among the Israelitish people, as history reveals through violent political turbulence often accompanying assassinations. The term "conspire" carries a deeply negative connotation, defined as combining secretly in an evil or unlawful enterprise. Derived from Latin roots meaning "with breathing," it suggests secretive whispering among plotters, highlighting the clandestine nature of such schemes. Synonyms like scheme, intrigue, collude, connive, machinate, and plot underscore its sinister intent, while antonyms such as contribute, combine, cooperate, concur, and work together contrast sharply with its purpose. Conspiracies often aim to disrupt ongoing systems, whether in government or business, targeting leaders or individuals in power to achieve personal gain or a perceived better outcome. They typically involve planning by those not in authority to overthrow those who are, revealing an inherent evil motive for personal benefit. A striking biblical example is the conspiracy against Jesus Christ by the chief priests, scribes, elders, and later Judas, driven by envy of His spiritual power and popularity. As early as John 5:18, their plotting to kill Him is evident, intensifying over time as seen in John 7 and Matthew 26:3-5, just days before His crucifixion. Key elements of conspiracies include the involvement of two or more individuals fearing loss of power, authority, income, or status, united by a common purpose for personal gain. Conspirators often justify their actions as righteous, believing they are promoting or defending a cause for the greater good, deceiving themselves into thinking they benefit others. Their conviction of personal gain fuels their commitment to the plot, as seen in the calculated efforts to eliminate Jesus Christ while avoiding blame for their actions.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Seven)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Conspiracies form for the same general reasons as fraternities, sororities, and clubs, gradually becoming a family-like association to motivate a purpose. The commonality that attracts and motivates members of such conspiracies is the overriding desire for wealth and power, the power to control for one's own benefit. This desire mirrors the appeal satan used to build his rebellion against God, promising wisdom, power, and might to angels, driven by self-love and pride. The same personality who persuaded the angels continues to persuade men and women to join in another attack on God, though they remain unaware of being used for this purpose, focusing instead on improving their wealth and power to shape political and economic conditions to their advantage. The aim of these conspiracies is not limited to an American operation but seeks worldwide power and influence, aspiring to establish a new world order. The participants, largely drawn from the family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—that is, Israel—and settled in Europe, include various ethnicities such as Norwegians, Finns, Swedes, Germans, Jews, French, Swiss, Brits, Danes, Irish, Belgians, Dutch, and a significant representation from Gentile nations, though ethnicity means little to those involved. Their primary focus remains on personal goals of more money and more power, overriding all else.

Conspiracy Theory

CGG Weekly by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

Conspiracy theories have proliferated in the wake of major events, from the terrorist attacks of September 11 to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the deaths of figures like Marilyn Monroe, Robert Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. They also surround America's involvement in various wars and conflicts, as well as national elections, including the one that made George W. Bush president. Conspiracies are acknowledged as real phenomena, with historical and biblical examples showing their existence. Psalm 2 describes nations plotting against the LORD and His anointed, while Psalm 83 reveals a confederacy against God and Israel. Numerous conspiracies appear in biblical accounts, such as the capture and sale of Joseph by his brothers, and the schemes of Jewish leaders in Judea against Jesus Christ, extending to plots against Stephen, Peter, James, Paul, and others. Revelation 17 depicts an end-time conspiracy involving ten kings, the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Scarlet Woman to dominate the world. Above all looms the ultimate conspiracy led by satan the devil and his demonic forces, aiming to dethrone God and disqualify His potential children, a doomed plan that continues to intensify toward Armageddon. All other conspiracies pale in comparison to this great conflict. While the myriad worldly conspiracies serve as distractions, the focus should remain on the spiritual battle against the satanic conspiracy, prioritizing the pursuit of God's kingdom and righteousness over unraveling transient worldly plots.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Eleven)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Satan has been preparing for centuries for the time we now live in, engaging in meticulous planning and maneuvering to array his army of demons and men for war against Jesus Christ. His preparations for these climactic battles have been in progress for hundreds of years, driven by the need to confront the formidable Creator God. Satan's primary attribute is his ability to deceive, crafting deceptions that appear true on the surface to ensure they are accepted. He operates within the constraints God places on him, bound to work within what God permits, while facing the reality of God's superior power and His simultaneous preparation of His people for the great showdown. Satan must provide a background of human history and scientific knowledge to educate mankind, enabling his worldwide deceptions to appear as natural evolution and human development through the ages. This illusion suggests mankind is improving, though in reality, it is declining. Time is critical for Satan, as human lifetimes are short compared to his own, necessitating careful and prolonged strategies. His work, believed to have begun in the 17th century, involves centuries of effort to shape the current state of affairs, contributing to the steady deterioration of the quality of life in our nations, where abnormalities are now accepted as the new normal.

The Handwriting is on the Wall: Conspiracies

Feast of Tabernacles Sermon by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

The film Munich vividly portrays a world rife with national conspiracies, often at odds even with supposed allies. A striking instance involves the Israeli death squad targeting Salameh, the architect of the Munich attack, only to be thwarted by American CIA agents who deliberately alert him to escape, protecting him for their own purposes. The movie also suggests involvement by the Russian KGB and depicts a French family entangled in the business of selling information to national assassins for high prices, living luxuriously yet under immense psychological strain due to internal conflicts over their dirty dealings. History shows that conspiring alliances among nations have long existed, primarily to nullify power against a common enemy or to strengthen power for conquest. The rise of technology and rapid communication in recent centuries has blurred national borders, pushing nations toward commercial and political unions, often under the guise of common markets. This trend fuels talk of a new world order and globalism, with abundant possibilities for conspiracies to align powerful nations like the United States with others. Conspiracies are rampant worldwide, driven by self-interest, the desire for power, and the influence of satan, who is depicted as the ruler of this world, reveling in destruction and deception. This malevolent spirit cunningly sows confusion, anger, and envy, manipulating people to feel mistreated and to conspire against each other and against God. Historical and biblical examples abound, from the sons of Jacob conspiring against Joseph to Jezebel plotting against Naboth, and even modern instances of corporate and political conspiracies driven by greed and the desire for control. The drive to conspire stems from human nature's self-centeredness, exacerbated by satan's influence, pushing individuals and nations to seek personal gain through plots and schemes. Powerful organizations and groups, motivated by self-interest, are moving toward global alignments, believing it to be beneficial, yet this movement is ultimately guided by a destructive spirit. Despite the chaos and confusion within these conspiracies, they continue to progress in the direction satan desires, though his kingdom will not stand. God warns against becoming entangled in conspiracies, emphasizing that His will shall prevail regardless of human plots. The lesson is clear: while conspiracies are a reality, one must not allow them to consume time and effort, losing focus on preparing for God's Kingdom. Trust in Him, rather than fear of conspiracies, should guide one's path.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Nine)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

I'm presenting this series titled, Conspiracy Theory, to highlight that Satan is orchestrating the operations we are living in and through. The massive deceptions that began in the Garden of Eden have never ceased, driving the world even today. While Satan's efforts to deceive and destroy are intensifying, God limits his power, as evidenced in Job 1:12 and Job 2:6, where the LORD restricts Satan's actions against Job. Though Satan's powers far exceed man's, they are vastly inferior to God's. God uses Satan to bring the Israelitish people in the Western world to repentance, just as He did with Job. We must live by faith, confident in God's hands, yet not carelessly, understanding the reality of Satan's deception, for which we will be held accountable.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Six)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Satan is directly engineering the most major of all conspiracies, designed to knock God from His throne, coinciding with the return of Jesus Christ. This conspiracy, both timely and a means used by God to fulfill prophecy, directly and indirectly impacts us. It serves as the organized resistance to God's rule through Christ at this time. Satan, as the principal organizing leader, plans in terms of generations, not mere years, and organizes the conspiracy along family lines, borrowing these concepts from God. God worked through family lines, such as Adam and Eve's descendants, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and Joseph, leveraging commonalities like skills and temperaments for organizational efficiency. Satan, in his clever use of people, excels in prospering them in social endeavors across political, academic, corporate, literary, entertainment, fashion, psychology, and military spheres to further his intents in this world. Under God's allowance, Satan runs this world, choosing and training individuals for positions of power to carry out his plans. Though he may not know the exact time of Christ's return, he can estimate it more closely than men, selecting people and their descendants generations in advance to form his conspiratorial team. Over time, he has worked to weaken belief in Christian values and the Creator God, eroding biblical character through liberal concepts and misinformation in education, from universities to elementary schools. This devastation is evident in the destruction of family life, corruption in government and business, and the decline of national admiration among other nations.

What I Believe About Conspiracy Theories

Feast of Tabernacles Sermon by John W. Ritenbaugh

There is a pervasive conspiracy unfolding in the world today, drawing nations toward a one-world government. This movement, often termed the New World Order, is not a mere hoax but a significant prophetic development that must occur before the return of Jesus Christ. It is an operation conducted openly in many respects, yet the general public remains unaware of where to find the truth about it, largely because they do not believe the evidence presented in the Bible. This conspiracy is not limited to American liberties but aims to bring the entire world under the dominion of a single government. Sincerely deceived individuals, aware of mankind's history of using weapons to suppress liberties and seize power, believe this supranational government represents humanity's last best effort to avoid destruction. They feel they are in a race against time and human nature to establish control over all nations. The foundation of this conspiracy lies with Satan, who is described as a deceiving, plotting conspirator. His spiritual descendants reflect his characteristics, showing cunning and subtlety as seen in Genesis with the serpent. Satan has historically conspired with men to turn them against God, deceiving them into worshiping him while believing they serve the true God. Biblical examples, such as Nimrod's antagonistic rule in Babel, illustrate mankind's attempts under Satan's sway to unify under one government against God's purpose, prompting divine intervention to confuse their languages. Further evidence in Daniel reveals successive world governments permitted by God, demonstrating that human-led supra-governments fail. A final kingdom, diverse and devouring, will emerge, speaking against the Most High and oppressing the saints, yet it will fall short of its ultimate goal. This beast power, a counterfeit of God's coming kingdom, will rise through deceit and flatteries, not military might, using strategically placed individuals to wield influence and corrupt systems, as seen in educational and political spheres. Scriptures like Psalm 2 and Psalm 83 depict human rulers and kings conspiring against the Lord and His anointed, seeking to break free from divine authority. Historical accounts in Genesis, II Samuel, and throughout the Bible, including conspiracies against Jesus and the early church, show that plotting for power or advantage is a recurring aspect of human nature under Satan's influence. Satan, a spirit being unconstrained by death, uses men much like God does, inspiring and manipulating them through self-interest to achieve his ends. He employs tactics of psychological manipulation, appealing to personal ambitions to foster disloyalty to nations and existing systems. Various groups, such as the Bilderbergers, the United Nations, and others, pursue similar agendas toward a supranational government and religion, though not in perfect agreement, reflecting Satan's divided and chaotic nature. Ultimately, this conspiracy, driven by self-interest, will fracture as the beast power turns against itself, unable to overcome human nature's drive for dominance. Despite its public discussion by figures like George Bush, the true nature of this movement remains obscured to those without biblical insight. God's instruction, as in Isaiah, is clear: do not fear this confederacy, do not let it distract from the Kingdom of God, but trust in Him as the sanctuary, maintaining focus on His law and testimony to avoid being ensnared by Satan's subtle deceptions.

Conspiracy Theory (Part Ten)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

The secular United States Supreme Court, in 1963, through an 8-1 decision, introduced a malignant evil religion known as secularism, which has yielded destructive outcomes across the nation. This was not a sudden occurrence but the result of a well-planned and effectively administered conspiracy by satan to alter societal norms. Satan focused on two critical areas to destroy the culture: the spiritual education of the Western world, aiming to undermine the reality of God's existence and His sovereignty, and the material, secular education of society. Through deceptive means, satan sought to diminish thoughts of God in mankind's mind over time. Satan's miseducation plan, initiated centuries before the return of Christ, required extensive groundwork due to the lack of instant mass communication in earlier times. With virtually no technology at the start, communication was primarily by word of mouth, necessitating a long-term strategy that began around AD 1600. This timing coincided with significant historical developments, such as the invention of the Gutenberg press, which enabled mass printing and thus the spread of information or misinformation. This period also marked the beginning of the Protestant Reformation in 1517, which introduced larger masses to some of God's truths through accessible Bible reading, yet also set the stage for religious and political upheaval. Satan's persecutions in Europe further intensified, impacting conditions and circumstances in preparation for the end time, contributing to emigration to the New World as people sought refuge from turmoil.
