His Hand Against Every Man

CGG Weekly by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

Denmark serves as a prime illustration of the acute Arab and Muslim integration challenges confronting multiple Western European nations amid their broader reluctance to confront such issues domestically. With roughly 200,000 Muslim immigrants in a total population of about 5½ million, or 3.5 percent, more than half of these newcomers concentrate in urban centers in pursuit of employment, yet many remain unemployed and collectively account for more than 40 percent of the country's welfare expenditures. Crime patterns show even sharper imbalances, with Muslims forming the majority of convicted rapists and non-Danes responsible for three-quarters of all rapes, alongside similarly disproportionate figures in other offense categories. These communities have also introduced practices such as forced marriages, often involving girls promised to men from their countries of origin under threat of death, as well as intimidation directed at Muslims who convert away from Islam. Jewish residents, numbering around 6,000, increasingly require police protection as anti-Israel demonstrations escalate into anti-Jewish riots, schools decline to guarantee children's safety, and organizations like Hizb-ut-Tahrir openly urge Muslims to kill Jews wherever found. Muslim clerics have further called for eventual takeover and imposition of Islamic law once the population grows sufficiently large, with estimates projecting that Muslims will comprise one-third of Denmark's residents within about forty years. Such trends exemplify the prophecy that Ishmael would be a wild man whose hand is against every man and every man's hand against him, a disposition institutionalized within Islam, while also foreshadowing the outworking of the warning that the alien among the people shall rise higher and higher above them as they come down lower and lower, all amid developments that hasten toward the return of Jesus Christ.
