Did Angels Marry Human Women?
'Ready Answer' by StaffThe notion that angels married women before the Flood and produced giants is unfounded. Angels do not marry, as Jesus clearly states that in the resurrection, humans neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. Angels, being spirit beings, cannot cohabit or reproduce with women, who are human beings. These are two different kinds of beings, and kind reproduces only after kind, adhering to God's strict law established from the beginning. Furthermore, while angels are sometimes called sons of God, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, reinforcing that the sons of God mentioned in the context of these marriages were not angels but human beings.

Can Angels Marry Women?
'Ready Answer' by John ReissA significant point against the notion that the sons of God in Genesis 6 were fallen angels who married human women is the fact that angels cannot reproduce. Jesus Christ teaches in Mark 12:25 that in the resurrection, human beings will be like the angels in heaven, who neither marry nor are given in marriage. This statement clearly contradicts the idea that angels could engage in marital unions with the daughters of men as described in Genesis 6:2. Since angels do not marry, they cannot produce offspring, refuting the interpretation that they fathered the mighty men of renown through such unions.
