Sharia Law advances in Europe as Muslim immigrants, refusing integration, demand Islamic courts and practices. In England over 3,000 mosques support 130 shariah courts, enabling a cultural conquest that extinguishes passive cultures in the Israelitish nations. Denmark faces calls for Islamic law once Muslims reach one-third of the population. Islamic banking follows Sharia by requiring 2.5 percent charity donations, rejecting interest-based loans, and mandating Sharia advisory councils for compliance. Western institutions, including Britain, pursue sukuk bonds to enter this market.

His Hand Against Every Man

CGG Weekly by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

Several European nations, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, face a growing Arab/Muslim population that often refuses to integrate and abide by common standards. In Denmark, with about 200,000 Muslim immigrants in a population of roughly 5½ million, these immigrants account for over 40% of welfare spending and are disproportionately involved in crime, including a majority of convicted rapists. Unacceptable practices such as forced marriages and death threats against Muslims who convert out of Islam have also emerged. Muslim clerics have called for adherents to take over Denmark and impose Islamic law once their population grows sufficiently, with projections suggesting Muslims could comprise one-third of Denmark's population in about forty years.

Islam on the March (Part One): The West

'WorldWatch' by Joseph B. Baity

Sharia law emerges as a central concern in understanding Islam's expanding influence throughout Europe and, increasingly, America. Derived from the Quran and the Hadith, Sharia law is distinguished by its refusal to separate religious and civic life, making it fundamentally incompatible with Western legal systems that are rooted in the Judeo-Christian ethic and its principle of church-state separation. Under Sharia, the Quran and related Islamic teachings govern every aspect of a Muslim's existence, including diet, dress, worship, and governance itself. Of particular alarm is the fact that Sharia law permits or even promotes practices such as polygamy, domestic violence, female circumcision, forced child marriage, honor killings, and militant jihad. This legal and cultural system has taken root in nearly 900 identified Muslim enclaves across Europe, many of which function as no-go zones for non-Muslims where Sharia law is effectively enforced in place of national civil law. Despite legislative attempts by nations such as Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Portugal, and Switzerland to counter this trend, such measures are widely regarded as insufficient given the scale of unchecked Muslim immigration into the West over the past two decades. The trajectory in America, while less advanced than in Europe, mirrors this same pattern of growing Islamic political and cultural influence, raising the possibility of similar Sharia-influenced enclaves developing domestically. Muslim populations in states like Minnesota, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia have become politically assertive, with 228 Muslims now holding political office across 26 states. Communities are already pushing for measures such as mandated Islamic holidays, halal school menus, and even the criminalization of criticism of Islam—all reflecting the broader Sharia framework of merging religious mandates with civic law. Large-scale developments like the East Plano Islamic Center in Texas and the Huda Islamic Center near Houston, complete with Islamic universities and halal retail infrastructure, signal the institutional groundwork for Sharia-based community life within the United States. Organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), tied historically to the Muslim Brotherhood, actively promote legislation favorable to these goals while publicly denying such affiliations. This effort aligns with statements like that of CAIR founder Omar Ahmad, who declared that Islam's purpose in America is not to coexist as an equal faith but to become dominant, with the Quran as the highest authority and Islam as the only accepted religion on Earth—an ambition inseparable from the imposition of Sharia governance. This growing Islamic assault on Western civilization, undergirded by Sharia law's totalizing claims over both private and public life, is framed as part of a broader trajectory with prophetic significance. Islam's stated intent to occupy and conquer Jerusalem positions these developments as potentially playing a key role in the events leading to the return of Jesus Christ, making the spread of Sharia-influenced Islamic governance a matter of both immediate cultural concern and long-term prophetic relevance.

Learning the Right Things (Part One)

Commentary by John W. Ritenbaugh (1932-2023)

Muslims are winning a cultural war in England without firing a shot. There are over 3,000 mosques in England operating 130 shariah Muslim courts. These developments occur as Muslim nations conduct a more or less peaceful invasion that snuffs out passive cultures in the Israelitish nations.

Global Rebalancing: Money, Power, and Islamic Banking

'WorldWatch' by David C. Grabbe

Islamic banking, also known as Sharia banking, is a system of banking or financial activity in alignment with Islamic law (Sharia). It requires that 2.5% of revenue be donated to Islamic charity, prohibits borrowing and lending with interest though paying for the time value of money is accepted as long as it is seen as a gift rather than a guarantee, and requires socially responsible investing meaning that a bank cannot invest in something that is against Islamic principles. Banks that offer Islamic banking products and services are required to establish a Sharia advisory council to ensure that the operations of the bank comply with Islamic principles according to the interpretation of the council. Estimates of the size of the Sharia banking sector range from $500 billion up to $1.5 trillion. Western financial institutions including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, and McKinsey and Co. are eager to tap into this emerging market. The British government has taken steps to make Britain the global center for Islamic finance and has pledged to issue its own Sharia compliant bonds (sukuk) which are government debt compliant with Islamic principles.
