Richard Ritenbaugh, reporting on a motion passed by the South African Parliament calling for the expropriation-without-compensation of white-owned land, points out that this dramatic move was instigated by the far-left Marxist rabble-rouser Julius Malema, who at one point has threatened, 'We are not calling for the slaughter of white people—at least for now.' South Africa's Constitution would need to be amended before such property confiscation could take place. The Marxist-leaning South African Parliament does not plan to award any of this land to black farmers for the simple reason that Marxists do not believe in the private ownership of property. Another Marxist tyrant, Robert Mugabe, blazed the trail for his young disciple, Julius Malema, having confiscated the lands of white farmers in Zimbabwe two decades earlier, transferring the ownership of farms to incompetent Marxist elites, who quickly turned Zimbabwe from a thriving economy into the fastest shrinking economy in Africa, bringing widespread distress onto its populace. Sadly, the sinister handwriting is on the wall for South Africa, hell-bent to follow the same Marxist principles which destroyed Zimbabwe.
Joe Baity suggests that the media seems to be creating major identification dysphoria among the populace by destroying age-old cultural norms such as work ethic, family, and liberty, replacing these norms by family-wrecking agendas. The government-controlled media, under the sway of Satanic influence, has succeeded in promoting homosexual, transgender, trans-human, and trans-species movements, encouraging bewildered pre-pubescent youth to question their gender and species identity. The same virulent media has attempted to divide men from women, black from white, youth from elderly, labor from management, etc. While the 'progressive' media blatantly perverts what is to be human, we as God's called-out ones need to think as Christ thinks, dismantling our carnal human nature, replacing it with God's Holy Spirit, enabling us to become holy as Christ is holy. Our responsibility is to be unified through God's Holy Spirit, living together to serve truth.
Richard Ritenbaugh, acknowledging that biased media deluges us with lies, warns that God has not endorsed all information, whether from the left or the right, is pulling us toward carnal solutions and away from godly ones. Because the far left has traditionally embraced humanist, 'progressive,' anti-God viewpoints, church members have felt inclined to espouse views to the right of the political continuum. Even though conservative views seem to be more compatible with traditional Christian views, neither Republican (generally, conservative) or Democrat (generally, liberal) standards are consistent with God's standards. Hence, God's true children should subscribe to neither viewpoint. We dare not try to shoehorn God's perspective into our own. Instead, we should follow the lead of our Elder Brother, who steadfastly claims that "My Kingdom is not of this world." Our position should be the same, taking ourselves out of the parochial wrangling which is fracturing the current world.
Charles Whitaker, observing the plethora of pairings (binary opposites, dichotomies in Genesis 1 and 2 (day and night, male and female, sea and land, the Tree of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life, etc.) asserts that during the first stage of Creation, God unleashed multiple universal processes of division or separation. In the New Creation in the fullness of time, God purposes to regather everything He has heretofore separated. After the Passover Jesus shared with His disciples up to the event of His crucifixion, the division between Jew and Gentile, male and female, slave and free, over the sun and under the sun, etc., was obliterated, initiating unification. During the New Order (New Heavens and the New Earth) described in Revelation, the division between night and day, as well as land and sea, will also be obliterated, indicating a thorough unification process. Consequently, God has shown His long-term plan as a two-phased project beginning as a lengthy separation process, followed by a reconciliation or unification process, in which all will be gathered, reconciled, and unified into the Body of Christ.
Richard Ritenbaugh, describing the state-controlled media as thunderstruck after all their bogus polls blew up in their faces, maintains that America is just beginning to reap what it has sown, evidenced by the on-going meltdown and temper-tantrums displayed by the 'spontaneous' demonstrations from Oakland to Minneapolis to New York (bankrolled by George Soros). Some demonstrators called for Donald Trump's assassination, as they 'peacefully' smashed windows, beat white people, and taunted the police. The 'progressive,' leftist educational system has been teaching these clueless youths how to whine and complain, demanding that life should be fair and that there should be no winners or losers. Now the poor "snowflakes" are demanding safe-spaces, coloring books, playdough, pets, cry-ins, and time-outs to cope with the 'overwhelming' stress for which they are ill-equipped.
Richard Ritenbaugh, reflecting on the fallout from the devastating Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, has observed that some have attempted shamelessly to politicize this disaster, foolishly proclaiming that this disaster was caused by climate change, global warming, or 'environmental racism.' Regardless of the subject being discussed today, mass media and internet social media have been deliberately poking political hot buttons, purposely dividing the people of this nation to take adversary positions. Politicizing issues serves those who seek to expand the legitimate role of government and to institutionalize current power structures. Politicizing is a grave evil because it (1) creates an "us versus them" adversarial approach to issue reslotuon, leading to internecine conflicts, feuds, or civil wars, (2) creates false dichotomies , such as migration or no immigration, disregarding the fact that every issue is far too complex to be oversimplified into terms of black or white and (3) trivializes moral or ethical issues, as exampled in the subtle intimations that one party promotes racism and the other does not, or that lawbreaking will stop simply by passing legislation. God's system does not(and should not) make use of politics, which is motivated by pure prideful ego and a grasping for power. When politics enters the church, disaster and division inevitably follows. The Church is commissioned to do God's will, not its own. Politicians work to get their own will advanced, but our job, as God's called-out ones, is to do God's will.
John Ritenbaugh, reflecting that he has examined conspiracy theories since the late 1960's, concludes that conspiracies are a perennial reality; Jesus Christ's trial and crucifixion resulted from a successfully executed conspiracy. In the 1970 novel, Dance with the Devil, the author posits that Satan leads, and mankind gullibly follows his leadership. Satan, through his inherent propensity to lie and his clever ability to deceive, has attained success maneuvering mankind against God's purpose, manipulating and twisting language, as can be witnessed by the sinister political correctness doctrine embraced by the current 'progressive,' 'liberal' Administration. Accepting the teachings of political correctness, destructive and deadly to the nervous system, leads to sin and enslavement. The elitist globalist powers which control the current American political administration want us to believe that embracing illegal immigration is compassionate, even though it has absolutely led to sickening, horrific crimes in every nation on which it has been enforced. When the government of Norway recently deported terrorist thugs who had perpetrated rape and murder, the crime rate decreased 70%. The leaders of the American government have not profited from this insight but continue to blissfully dance with the devil. God is the author of borders, even among members of the same Israelite tribe, as evidenced by Joshua's distribution of land tracts among the descendants of Jacob's sons. The proponents of open borders and sanctuary cities are truly emissaries of a horrible sinister Beast power who deliberately wants to foment strife between peoples and pulverize culture, not desiring peace, but chaos and confusion. Political correctness and open borders are Satanic, totally opposed to God's orderly structure.
John Ritenbaugh reiterates that political correctness is a kind of programmed conditioning, undertaken by leftist 'liberal' 'progressives' to convince people to override their common sense and the evidence of their five senses, coercing gullible people to ardently believe that a blue barn is flaming red while a flaming red barn is sky blue, or that evil is good and good is evil. 'Progressives' would have us believe that gender is a matter of choice, made possible by cutting appendages off and augmenting others by chemicals. 'Progressives' would have us believe that gun-free zones prevent violence. 'Progressives' would have us believe that the economy is robust and healthy when the national debt has never been higher and hopelessly out of control. 'Progressives' would have us believe that Black Lives Matter (an organization funded by hateful white billionaire and former Nazi-collaborator George Soros) seeks to protect black lives, when in reality it delights in massive black abortions, condones 500 black-on-black homicides in Chicago annually, but hysterically foments rage when any policeman wounds or shoots a black man under any circumstances. The proponents of Black Lives Matter want to brainwash the community to accept the fiction of police brutality, while enabling unscrupulous politicians to gain control of the inner cities as their domain. 'Progressives' may hypocritically denounce terrorists with black masks and scimitars, but graciously condone terrorists with white masks and scalpels who have murdered millions of innocent babies in the name of 'Women's rights.'
John Ritenbaugh, detecting a monumental shameless hypocrisy in liberal media reporting, a media which promoted race riots in Baltimore by characterizing the killing of Freddie Gray as police brutality while hypocritically remaining silent when Marian Kerry, an unarmed Black woman who had committed no crime and was not fleeing, was killed by Capitol Police. Black Lives Matter (an organization funded by white billionaire George Soros) has one narrative, and that is to condemn and harass policemen trying to do their jobs under horrendous circumstances. To the state-controlled liberal 'progressive' media, Black lives do not matter if Planned Parenthood stealthily eliminates nearly 400,000 of them each year. Indeed, in the minds of media chiefs, it is clear that Black lives do not matter in cases where young Black males murder other young Black males in stupefying numbers—- another silent epidemic. Black Lives Matter and the mainstream media will continue to ignore these facts of Black lives because they are not part of their sinister race-baiting narrative.
John Ritenbaugh defines political correctness as a savage war on truth, in which a gullible public is persuaded to dismiss evidence people witness with their own eyes, replacing it with a false, delusional narrative. Inordinately fearful individuals, those who believe themselves to be powerless victims, or those who prize social acceptance over truth, display a penchant for accepting this unreal narrative. Philip Hodges revealed the virulent lies of the Black Lives Matter movement by his tweet, "Don't vote for Hillary; She's killing black people," a reference to the Presidential candidate's ardent support of Planned Parenthood, formed by the black-hater, Margaret Sanger. That group murders-through abortion- over 355,510 black babies a year, far in excess of the 258 black men killed in confrontation with police. The state-controlled media shields Planned Parenthood's role as Murder Incorporated, organized by progressive liberals. For Planned Parenthood and progressive liberals, saving black children does not matter; killing babies is one of the greatest profit generators in American history.
John Ritenbaugh, referring to the peppery interchange of Donald Trump, labeling the mainstream reporters as liars, and the political reporters as incredible liars, focuses on the revision of a television miniseries, Roots. The original production alleged to be a 'true' history of Alex Haley, while in fact it vastly distorted the truth. Alex Haley did not even write the original story, but plagiarized it from Harold Courlander's, The African, a totally fictional account of an African boy sold into slavery by white European slave traders. Even that part of Courlander's story is a distortion of the truth, since the slave trading on the African continent was done by dark-skinned Muslims, a culture whose history has always been replete with trading of human flesh for sexual or labor purposes. When Courlander sued Alex Haley for plagiarism, the court awarded him $650,000, but ordered him to remain silent while the poisonous false propaganda permeated the airwaves, brainwashing over 100 million gullible Americans, leading to uncontrollable racial tension. Colleges and universities got on board by developing courses based upon the 'historical' events surrounding the Roots series, one of the biggest con-jobs of the 1970's, a lie which Hollywood and the leftist media eagerly wants to resuscitate to cause more tension and hatred between the races.
David Maas cautions that in a dangerous and troubled world in which everyone is being manipulated and conned into squaring off in hatred for one another, being enticed to take the spiritual mark of the Beast (seething anger and hatred toward one another), we must find common ground, not only with our fellow citizens, but especially among the multiple splinter groups in the greater church of God. Following the apostle Paul's example, when we encounter groups with differing views from ours, we must find common ground, finding things praiseworthy about them, providing the framework for mutual understanding, always on the basis of God's covenants to all of mankind and to His called-out firstfruits. In the current configuration of the greater church of God, blown to smithereens in the early 1990's, each group finds itself on a continuum, with an authoritarian fringe on one extreme and an assimilation or conforming to the world extreme on the other fringe. Each group has gifts and insights, as well as blind-spots and deficits in understanding, both of which will be cleared up by Almighty God in the fullness of time. In the meantime, we are commissioned to do our part of the work, always esteeming others over ourselves, respecting and loving one another, and striving to conform to God's covenant with all of us.
Austin Del Castillo, recalling an incident earlier in his life when he allowed his pride at being the only college graduate on his crew to lead him to take his job less seriously or diligently than he should have, examines the destructive, corrosive effects of pride, and the positive value for genuine humility in the workplace and in our relationships with one another. Humility is important as we are guided by God's Holy Spirit; we are obligated to do something constructive with it. The former guardian cherub is the architect of pride, his heart lifted up by his beauty, causing him to develop an entitlement mentality, an affliction shared by all who have carnal human nature. Pride hopelessly distorts our view of reality, as well as our relationship with Almighty God and our fellow called-out ones. We have been called out to be separate, holy, and sanctified, submitting ourselves to one another, rather than elevating ourselves over one another. Being humble is not for the faint of heart, but it requires the Spirit of God operating in our lives.
Martin Collins, acknowledging that Ancient Israel was guilty of adulterous, idolatrous, environmental earth worship, as demonstrated by Jeremiah 3:6-9, having led previously to God's issuing her a certificate of divorce, claims that eco-spirituality—a global environmental ethic based on the worship of "Mother Earth," emphasizing bio-diversity—is about to eclipse the Judeo-Christian religion and ethic. The earth worshipers have vilified Western religion, especially Christianity, for selfishly raping the earth of its resources, flora, and fauna, for the sake of 'racist' white men. The United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) castigates Christianity for selfishly destroying Mother Earth, but gives praise to Eastern philosophies regarding certain animals as sacred and revering the soil as a goddess. The misguided proponents of the earth worshipers fail to understand that we cannot take care of the earth by worshiping it as an idol, but must transfer that devotion to the Creator of the earth and the universe.
As summer ended, the tragic events in Ferguson, Missouri, transfixed the nation. The officer-involved shooting of a young black man touched off demonstrations and rioting, not just in the St. Louis area, but all across the nation. Richard Ritenbaugh proposes that racial animosities are being stoked for political reasons.
In his book Wishful Thinking Transformed by Thorns, Presbyterian minister Frederick Buechner makes this colorful observation: "Of the seven deadly sins, anger is possibly the most fun...."
John Ritenbaugh affirms that Deuteronomy is the only book commanded to be read at regular intervals. Deuteronomy covers the final 70 days of Moses' tumultuous life. The rulers of Israel were to write a copy of the Law and read it on a daily basis. As members of the Israel of God, kings and priests in waiting, we need to read it continually, learning to rule others by learning to rule ourselves. The book of Deuteronomy is the heart and pulse of the Old Testament, with its words throughout the New Testament (quoted 86 times), excoriating idolatry, providing a foundation of Christian doctrine, exposing human nature, and providing an outline preparing us to enter God's Kingdom. The spiritual concepts in Deuteronomy serve as a template for the ruler's instruction book. Unlike Leviticus, Deuteronomy is not a cold, codified law, but a heart-felt appeal from Almighty God for His children to remain faithful to Him. As God Almighty skillfully engineered a massive number of our forebears, He will similarly engineer the end-time exodus for the Israel of God. Likewise we have a responsibility to remain faithful, instructing our children in God's instruction, insuring the success of God's family operation. We are to fear, love, and serve God, walking in and keeping His Commandments with all our might.

Why has anti-Semitism remained a part of this world's way of thinking? Charles Whitaker shows from recent history that anti-Semitism has merely morphed into new expressions of the old evil.
Richard Ritenbaugh, reflecting upon the technological and linguistic changes that have occurred in the short span of one century, marvels at the drastic decrease of our attention span and the corresponding degradation of language. The dramatic shift in orientation from words to pictures has weakened thought and the transmission of ideas, "dumbing down" our culture toward drabness, unaesthetic plainness, and imprecision. Because virtually everything we know about God comes through words, this denigration of language (the vehicle transmitting spiritual truths, metaphorical bread or food) could prove highly detrimental to our spiritual welfare. Spiritually, relying exclusively on images leads to shallowness of thought at best and idolatry at its worst. The Word of God, however, provides depth and nourishment leading to salvation and eternal life. Through God's Spirit, we need to learn how to process the Word of God effectively and efficiently.
For centuries across Europe, Catholicism taught that the Jews were guilty of deicide—the murder of Jesus Christ. At various times in its history, the Church felt no compunction to ghettoize the Jews, ostracize them, confiscate their goods, and murder them. Charles Whitaker shows how false teaching like this can lead to horrible results.

Though secularists tried to use immigration policy to force Christianity out of the American mainstream, it backfired. Charles Whitaker explains how God has used their scheme to accomplish His own end-time purposes.
John Ritenbaugh focuses on a deadly enemy within our borders, every bit as dangerous as the radical Islamic fundamentalists from without- an enemy composed of amoral radical agnostic multi-cultural, anti-Christ, anti-God secular humanistic educators in our universities and schools. Political correctness, sponsored largely by the Democrat party and the far left has ushered in deviancy, perversion and shameless self-indulgence in the name of diversity and multi-culturalism. Secularism, founded on the philosophical underpinnings of Rousseau, is, in effect, the official state religion for the majority of our nation. In the multi-cultural agenda, extermination of the white race and culture has top priority. Anyone who objects to this agenda becomes branded a racist, a member of the religious right. The love for truth gives us the only protection from this insidious threat.
This world lauds warmakers, but God says that peacemakers are blessed. John Ritenbaugh explains the beatitude in Matthew 5:9.
The church has predicted a united Europe for decades, but it seems just as far off as ever. Richard Ritenbaugh explains that humanly, Europe will never unite—it will take "a strong hand from someplace"!
