Among those who observe human behavior, there is a recognized view that our experiences with comfort during childhood profoundly influence how we love and relate to others into adulthood. The environments of chaos, turbulence, and abuse in formative years can lead to specific relational styles. In such settings, some may respond by becoming aggressive and controlling, driven by a fear of vulnerability and a need to prevent being controlled by others. They often react with anger when things are not to their liking and struggle with empathy, focusing instead on maintaining order and predictability. Conversely, others in abusive environments may choose to stay under the radar, tolerating the intolerable and accepting abuse as their fault. They tend to lack their own voice or opinions, often passively participating in wrongdoings rather than standing up for what is right. These styles, born from a lack of comfort, can hinder the ability to form secure, stable, and beneficial relationships within personal and communal contexts.

Any given doctrine must be built layer by layer, combining and comparing scriptures rather than allowing a single scripture to determine the doctrine.
