Stalked by Satan

'Ready Answer' by Mike Ford

Be sober, be vigilant; for your adversary the devil prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Like a lion, he operates under the cover of darkness, using deception as his camouflage, making him nearly invisible to his prey. With acute senses and night vision far sharper than ours, he watches us when we are unaware of his presence, patiently stalking his target. As lions hunt within a territory with a pride, he and his demons roam as adversaries, seeking to pick off the weak, the ailing, and those who have strayed from the herd. Once he strikes, he inflicts great pain, not killing immediately but pinning down and wounding his victim first, prolonging the suffering. Yet, even in his grasp, we can call out for help, for the LORD is near to all who call upon Him, hearing their cry and saving them. Visualize him as a lion, silently and invisibly stalking, always seeking to isolate you and pounce from the shadows to maul you. Let this imagery keep you alert to his stratagems.
