Death of a Lamb
Article by StaffDeath and Hades are formidable enemies in the ongoing spiritual battle, yet they are destined for ultimate destruction. God has designed death as part of His creation, with both the first death, which all humans face, and the second death, a merciful penalty for those who persist in sin after ample opportunity to repent. Death, though an enemy, serves a purpose in God's plan, acting as a tool to test and refine His people. Through Christ's victory over death by His resurrection, He has ensured that death no longer holds dominion over Him, paving the way for His followers to participate in the fight against sin and death. The final triumph will come when death, Hades, sin, and satan with his demonic forces are cast into the Lake of Fire, never to return. On that day, God will wipe away every tear, and there shall be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain, as the former things pass away, fulfilling the purpose of the sacrifice of the Lamb of God.
