It has past, present, and future dimensions: Christ redeemed believers from the curse of the law through His perfect life, continually redeems them as High Priest for those abiding in Him, and will fully redeem them by transforming their bodies at His return. This threefold pattern mirrors salvation's language and appears in Ruth, the wave loaves, and covenant history. Forgiveness operates within the covenant relationship, not before it, since God establishes covenants with those whose sins He has passed over.
