Science, properly practiced through observation and reproducible experimentation, is a method for gathering facts and remains useful, but scientism is a malign superstition. God created the world reflecting divine wisdom, and creation testifies so clearly to His existence that those who refuse to acknowledge it stand without excuse. Humanity has drawn upon this wisdom since Adam and Eve, evident in biomimicry, since all knowledge originates in the mind of God. When science is politicized, blended with corporate profits, or separated from its divine source, it becomes destructive, manipulated to support preexisting beliefs rather than proven facts. The true war on science comes from the left, which denies biological realities to preserve political agendas. Without connection to God, mankind nearly destroys itself.

'Political' Science

'WorldWatch' by Joseph B. Baity

The modern age of man owes much to the efforts and achievements of the scientific community. Most scientists promote a search for truth through an unadulterated examination of the physical world around us. Formal sciences include mathematics and statistics. Natural sciences include physics, chemistry, and biology. Social sciences include economics, sociology, and psychology. Humanity is enormously more productive and the world is infinitely more habitable, predictable, and enjoyable due to advances brought about by these disciplines. Mathematicians, engineers, physicists, sociologists, and physicians enjoyed venerated roles in society. Outliers have used science for nefarious purposes or unseemly personal gain. Most practitioners prefer to play a benevolent role in society. Today science is increasingly called upon to narrow, manipulate, or diminish vision to promote a political agenda. Pertinent questions should inspire incessant and transparent investigation until theory and opinion give way to observable, empirical, evidence-based facts. Scientific inquiry yields to politically correct emotional appeals, snappy slogans, and factoids. Scientists who dare to question the popular narrative experience vicious verbal assaults upon their professional reputations, threats to their livelihoods, and even their lives. Science is being hijacked and the scientific community is suffering irreversible harm to credibility. Observation and reproducible experimentation are the foundations of science and are the established facts upon which the various hypotheses, theories, and natural laws rest. To portray any hypothesis or theory as fact is a clear misapplication of the scientific method. Hypotheses must be verifiable or falsifiable through observation and reproducible experimentation to be considered a legitimate participant in the scientific method. When political agendas and corporate profits are blended with science the result is not scientific and often injurious not only to society at large but also to the honest practitioner. Scientific credibility and public trust are being undermined while the level of vitriol is leading to societal disorder. Science is a method for gathering facts. That much which is claimed to be science in the contemporary world is politicized junk. Elected officials often claim science in order to defend indefensible actions. Scientists are no more immune to having their judgment swayed by political beliefs than any of the rest of us. Science is useful. Scientism is a malign superstition. The outlook remains bleak for a godless world that allows its leadership to hijack, politicize, and eliminate authentic scientific inquiry into the manifold questions of physical existence. When mankind refuses to ask the right questions or to consider even the most obvious answers and solutions because they conflict with political will they become futile in their thoughts and their foolish hearts are darkened.

Are Humans Becoming More Intelligent? (Part Four)

Commentary by Martin G. Collins

God created the world in a way that reflects divine wisdom, a pattern discernible to those who seek after it, and this wisdom requires an initial acknowledgment of and reverence for God Himself. The creation testifies so clearly to God's existence and power that those who refuse to acknowledge it stand without excuse. The Bible therefore presents the creation through images of knowledge and wisdom, as when the voice from the whirlwind in Job 38 displays the order and power of the created order as evidence of God's superior knowledge. From beginning to end, only the God who formed living creatures can truly sustain and govern them, and the creation itself declares knowledge. Humans have consequently possessed access to this store of wisdom since Adam and Eve, and many human designs and inventions have drawn direct inspiration from it through biomimicry. Examples include a flexible robotic handling system modeled on the elephant's trunk, industrial materials patterned after the remarkable strength of deer antlers, directional adhesives that replicate the microscopic structures of gecko feet, optical systems derived from the multifocal zones in gecko eyes, curved electronic arrays that imitate the human retina, and radio-frequency processors that emulate the frequency analysis performed by the cochlea. These technologies illustrate how scientific progress originates in the intricate designs placed in creation by God. When culture departs from a biblical understanding of the world, wisdom departs with it, and human inventions, no longer directed toward God's glory, become instruments of destruction. The inspired Word of God supplies the framework that makes sense of both science and technology, yet secular efforts increasingly attempt to separate scientific inquiry from its divine source. Man has always possessed intelligence because of the way God fashioned human beings, and present advances represent accumulated knowledge whose origin lies in the mind of God. Without that connection, scientific knowledge will be misused to the point that mankind nearly destroys itself, until God intervenes to shorten the days of tribulation.

The Real Science-Deniers

Commentary by Richard T. Ritenbaugh

Many Christians are perceived as holding a jaundiced view of science because the scientific community has long opposed core Christian beliefs through its promotion of godless evolution and various findings on biblical history, health, creation, and marriage and family that were later exposed as fabricated due to an anti-biblical bias. Mainstream media portray conservatives and Christians as anti-science and even waging a war against it, claiming they fear that science will undermine their archaic beliefs and cling to unsupportable dogmas and ancient myths rather than accept the scientific consensus on vital issues. In reality the true war on science originates from the left, whose dogmas and myths shape scientific practice so that findings are manipulated to support preexisting beliefs instead of pursuing what can be proven by the scientific method. This manipulation appears in claims of a 97 percent consensus that humans cause global warming, a figure derived from analyses that either misinterpreted papers or excluded those taking no position to inflate agreement. It surfaces again in federal dietary guidelines that promoted low-fat diets based on cherry-picked epidemiology, despite repeated failures in clinical trials and contributions to rising obesity and diabetes. Similar distortions occur when biological facts are denied, such as the chromosomal coding of sex in every human cell that hormone therapy and surgery cannot alter, the status of the fetus as human life, or measurable differences between men and women in communication and spatial skills. These positions are maintained to preserve political beliefs even when contradicted by evidence. The pattern constitutes psychological transference, in which the left accuses others of the very rejection of objective inquiry it practices. Such accusations represent fake news, while the right seeks to conserve established truths against efforts to advance into a new order. This situation underscores the need to heed the warning that no one should be deceived.
